Childminding Service

My normal working hours are from Monday to Friday from 8am - 6pm. Hours outside these times are strictly negotiable.

All fees are based according to the individual needs of your child and the hours and days required.

Drinks, healthy snacks, nutritious lunches and dinners where applicable are included in the fee. For children with special dietary requirements, I am happy to provide meals prepared by you or I can provide them for an additional charge. Parents of young babies and young children are asked to provide all bottles of milk and baby food.

Nappies and wipes are not included in my fee.

Fees are still payable if your child attends pre-school and I am dropping off your child and being on call during their time there.

For term time only contracts, a half fee retainer is payable in school holidays to keep the place open for your child.

All parent / child sickness days are to be paid for as well as any holidays where the child is absent.

I have emergency backup cover arranged with other childminders if I am unable to accommodate your child due to my own sickness.

I am closed during the Christmas period for which normal fees will apply. I do not charge for any other holiday that I take off. All Public Holidays that fall on a contracted working day are charged at full fee. However, if you require my services for that day a double fee is payable instead.

A deposit may be asked for to secure a place, which is held until the placement ends.
A retainer fee is payable for a placement to start more than 4 weeks away to hold the place. This is non-returnable and does not count towards any future childminding costs.

Fees can be paid by cash or cheques but I would prefer to be paid directly into my bank account. Should any late payment be submitted then an additional charge of £10 per day would be applied.

I do accept childcare vouchers and parents may be entitled to help towards the costs of childcare through the Working Tax Credits.

Should any party wish to terminate the contract 6 weeks written notice must be given.

A pick up and drop off service may be available on request.
